how could i have forgotten to mention this! man, that is awesome and unbelievable. when i heard about it my first reaction was, "i can't wait to see what patrick smith has to say about this!" and he didn't waste any time because he got his column up right away! read an airline pilot talk about it here.
Tattoos In Flight contacted me last week about my 747 tattoo so i wrote a little blurb up about it. i was honored!
weird question perhaps but does anybody have these oasis songs?
"wonderwall"
"don't look back in anger"
"morning glory"
"champagne supernova"
at the time of the big oasis vs blur competition circa 1995 i was all for blur but for some odd reason i've been in the mood to hear those oasis songs lately! (for the record, i actually love the first oasis record)

The Bedsit Infamy Pre-Order is now available and I highly recommend this record to all! Billy is a whiz of all kinds - musical, studio, songwriting - you name it. I've been waiting a long time for this album and must say that it exceeded my expectations! I loved it on first listen but by the 10th listen I was hearing more, noticing more, and was even more blown away. I always feel like that for me it is a good sign when a record continues to grow on me with each listen.
Oddly, it was our mutual interest in Tim Green that brought us together thru lj. I had T.G. listed as an interest on my old lj and Billy did too. He seemed like a good dude so I commented or e-mailed or something. Little did I know how awesome he would turn out to be!
If you would like to hear The Bedsit Infamy I just provided you with a myspace link where you can hear some songs!

that commercial was my fucking favorite commercial when i was a little kid. you have no idea how many times i've talked about this commercial.
and inevitably that would lead to me talking about the sea galley commercial! also a childhood favorite! i lived in the seattle area as a youngster so these were more regional i guess. these rule!

i don't usually post stuff like this but i was just watching conan and america ferrera was on. she's working with this really great organization that is helping women who are getting off of welfare and into the work force with dental care. aquafresh is donating $1 from each purchase of one of their products (maybe more than one, i'm not clear) BUT they are also donating a dollar for each person who enters the contest you can find on this link:
http://www.aquafresh.com/CelebrityS mile/
i mean, why wouldn't you enter? you might get to go on a trip and women who need dental care will get it! i hope maybe people will repost this...

Your brain: 120% interpersonal, 120% visual, 140% verbal, and 20% mathematical!

Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.
Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:
- Don't date someone if your interpersonal percentages differ by more than 80%.
- Don't be friends with someone if your verbal percentages differ by more than 100%.
- Don't have sex with someone if their math percentage is over 200%.
